She enjoys hiking and feels there is no greater joy and satisfaction in life than when her family is serving the Lord together.
Jeff Carter and his wife Misty have been married and served in ministry together for 24 years. Prior to coming to CFC in 2011, Jeff served as Men’s Fellowship Director and was a member for 5 years in Bible Study Fellowship, a rigorous and intensive men’s Bible study class that met in Kingsport, TN. Both Jeff and Misty believe serving the church is one of the greatest offerings we can give to the Lord and have faithfully served wherever the Lord has called them. Since becoming members of CFC in 2013, Jeff has served on the church Deacon Board as Deacon of Safety, is the Safety and Security Director and is a member of Covenant Bikers for Christ. Jeff’s full-time professional career in IT has enabled him to serve the church’s IT needs including networking, cabling and managing the church servers. As an accomplished drummer, Jeff finds great joy in honoring the Lord by using his musical talents in the church’s dynamic praise and worship team. Jeff and Misty are the proud parents of two teenage boys who share their dad’s love for music and have shown great musical potential and growth while serving in the youth’s praise team as well as participating in the adult worship teams.
