I grew up in the small town of Garrison, North Dakota and was first introduced to the South when I attended Lee University in Cleveland, TN. Upon graduation I returned to the Dakotas and served in various ministry roles for the next couple of years. I moved back down to this part of the country in 1999. In 2003 I met my wife, Alycia and we were married the next year. God blessed us with two wonderful children, our daughter, Abby in 2007 and our son, Ryland in 2014. They bring a lot of life to our home and help keep us busy and well entertained.
I have been a part of the staff of Covenant Fellowship Church since January of 2006. During that time I have been privileged to see God relocate us twice as we have outgrown our previous locations. I look forward to seeing where He is taking us next!
I am a person of many varying interests. It doesn’t take too much time around me to find out that I love books and I love sports. I especially love books about sports. Go figure! I am a collector of things so I enjoy scavenging at places like yard sales, thrift stores, auction sale and flea markets looking for a good deal. I also enjoying cracking open a good jigsaw puzzle, metal detecting and exploring roads I have never driven down. My wife no longer asks me what I want for supper when we don’t want to cook at home because the answer is always pizza!
